Look. [ Kate's jaw shifts, tightens even further, mouth a thin line for a moment like she's trying not to get pissed and mostly succeeding. ] If you're going to be pulling my hair you'd better be doing something pretty fucking hot to me at the same time. Otherwise this doesn't work for me. Alright?

[It comes out a little strained, just because of the angle that Kate's got her at--but Johanna is willing to compound the twist in order to give a little incentive. Kate's grip is looser than her own, which means she can pull against it. Her hips drop back to the mat as she curls up, to press a kiss to Kate's mouth. [Her first reaction is to say no, so much so that the curl of her smirk loosens like she's going to say it, a purse of her lips as she pulls out of the kiss--but then, with a sigh, she unknits her fingers and lets her grip on Kate's hair loosen. Her hand flops over her head again, limp, like she's fallen from a great distance.]

Thank you. [ It's dry, like she sort of doesn't think she should have to be thanking her to begin with but is also grateful that she's given in. But there are better ways to show that.

(Except for how she really didn't mind it last time, even though it went totally against her usual first time policy.) Her hold on Johanna now is loose and she hasn't gone for a pin or a lock, legs free in a way she never leaves them when they're wrestling. She even lets go of a wrist so she can lay her palm on Johanna's jaw and tilt the kiss even deeper.

[As general statement. Kate wasn't really whining, per se, and in case she thinks about bitching about exactly that, Johanna bites at her lip before she lets that fierceness slip into another kiss.

It's called autotune. It's basically a computer program that can change the pitch of your voice. If you use it just a little it can make people sound like they're more on key but if you use it too much you sound weird. Also she's just got a nasaly voice, I guess?

Hahahahaha. P Diddy is a guy's stage name. One of them, he's had a few. Before that he was Puff Daddy. I think last I heard he was just Diddy? I've lost track.
That question makes so much more sense now. I forgot about that line. Basically it means you wake up feeling like you're incredibly awesome and have the world at your feet.

Sirius does not go back on promises. Which means that, as soon as he's given his time frame, five minutes, he leaves his room and heads for one of the empty ones. The after-effects of his fight with William is slight--wizards, man, they heal up and they heal up fast, and in the end, the damage hadn't been that much. And his good cheer is still intact, perhaps weirdly.
Then again, this is Christmas that they're talking about. Some things are important.

If you'd asked her how she felt about it as a holiday her reply would mostly consist of shrugging. It's alright, better in theory than in practice. She doesn't even really love snow, either.
