It's a laugh, one that bursts out with half a choking snort and has her clapping a hand over her mouth. ]

[ Kate is not dumb enough or unfamiliar enough with Johanna to assume she meant she was going to say something nicer. Her eyes narrow right back and she removes her hand to throw it up into the air. ]
